• The Cuttle affiliate program is only for people within the maker community — for example, bloggers, influencers, or community managers who deal with topics like laser cutting, design, or digital fabrication.
  • Generic coupon or review sites are not permitted.
• The Cuttle affiliate program only applies to Cuttle Pro for individuals. Cuttle’s education product (volume pricing for schools) is not included.
• Self-referrals are not allowed (signing up for Cuttle Pro through your own affiliate link).
• In some cases, we can give credit to an affiliate even if the customer didn’t sign up through an affiliate link. If you have a case like this, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
• No spamming!
  • Only post affiliate links on channels you own: your own social media, videos, web pages, groups, or newsletters.
  • Do not post your affiliate link on forums you do not own (e.g. other people’s Facebook groups) unless that is explicitly allowed in the rules of the forum or you have explicit permission.
  • No abuse, gaming, or attempting to mislead.
  • Do not post your link or promo code on coupon sharing websites.
  • No search engine ads, Facebook ads, or other ads that would compete with our own marketing and cause potential confusion for customers.
  • No sending your affiliate link in unsolicited emails or private messages.
  • No pretending to be acting on behalf of us (e.g. as an employee).
• If a referred customer receives a refund or chargeback, we’ll deduct the corresponding commission from your earnings.
• Like all affiliate programs, when you post an affiliate link, you must disclose that you are an affiliate. The FTC has a helpful guide: Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers.
• We reserve the right to change the Terms of Service for our affiliate program at any time.

Commission payment

Cuttle commissions are paid:

• Monthly (usually in the 1st week).
• For paying customers in good standing for 30 days or longer.
• For the first 12 months of customer subscription payments, or until the customer cancels or pauses membership, whichever comes first.
• Via PayPal. In order to receive payment, you must provide a valid PayPal email address.
• To the most recent referrer prior to the sale, in cases where more than one affiliate sent us a given visitor.
